SARAU 2017

New Zealand’s world famous blackcurrant Festival: 29thJanuary 2017

The Sarau Blackcurrant Festival takes place in New Zealand’s idyllic Upper Moutere Valley every January. It’s a celebration of the delights of the blackcurrant, with stalls, entertainment, cooking challenge, raffles, photo competition… It lasts for one day only – but what a day!

France’s blackcurrant Festival: 7, 8 and 9th June 2017

Festicassis is held in Nuits-Saint-Georges, France, every Summer at the world’s biggest blackcurrant museum Le Cassissium. Blackcurrants can be tasted and tested in various ways: chefs prepare delicious dishes for the public, cosmetics with blackcurrant extracts are demonstrated by beauticians, and drinks made with blackcurrant cordials, liqueurs and juices are served.
