7th International Blackcurrant Conference
Blackcurrant 2030: Collaborative Strategies for Market Stability and Climate Resilience
After 18 years, the international blackcurrant family will meet again in the Southern hemisphere. The Convention Centre “Te Pae” in Christchurch has been chosen for the meeting.
Given the travel distance for most of the attendees, this international blackcurrant conference will last longer than usual. The programme covers
- One full day of presentations in the Christchurch Convention Centre.
- 2 full days of field visits on blackcurrant farms and in factories.
- One more day with a touristic excursion (optional) rounds up the programme.
Arrival of participants
Afternoon: IBA Board meeting (for board members only) & sector group meetings at Te Pae Convention Centre
Evening: welcome function / cocktail evening (& 2008 conference reunion)
