Grower Meeting 2022 – a great success
Scheduled at the very last minute, the grower meeting 2022 in Miltenberg (Germany) was a great success. As a consequence, instead of waiting for the next conference to come in Austria in June 2024, we decided to have another grower meeting this year.
International Conference 2023 in Herefordshire, England
Again this year, we want to allow growers and other blackcurrant professionals to meet and exchange in presence. This is why the IBA has decided to organize another grower meeting, in England this time. We will see three outstanding farms, not far from each other – almost neighbours.
The programme of the conference 2023 will last for 2 days. It includes the visits of Whittern Farms, Pixley Berries and Windmill Hills, the traditional exchange of statistics and harvest forecast, the IBA Annual General Meeting, and a presentation and time for discussion on weeding solutions. They will be brought together before the conference, with information gathered from growers from the different IBA countries.

7th International Blackcurrant Conference
We have already started to plan the next big international blackcurrant conference 2024. More information will be available at the grower meeting in England. The organizing team has already prepared a nice presentation on the next destination of our IBA conferences.
Austria 2024 is just a year ahead. In Graz (Styria), we will learn a lot about organic blackcurrant growing, and how this small blackcurrant growing country has managed to keep its place in the business.
